Recently-released former WWE star Katrina Cortez revealed via Twitter that her working visa for the United States runs out in December.

Cortez was let go (along with another 17 workers) as part of WWE's reported "budget cuts", but she could suffer the consequences of that more than most. The Chilean wrestler's release also comes with a 30-day non-compete clause, which means she might be booted out of the country before she's able to sign another contract elsewhere.

That's seriously depressing.

Katrina poured her heart out on social media by saying that she "will have to sell everything that with much love and effort I have achieved". She then included a skull emoji at the end of the tweet to hammer home the point.

Fans leapt on the post by encouraging AEW to snap Cortez up ASAP and save her from having to leave the US. Sadly, she's unable to agree terms on another contract until her WWE non-compete lapses - the most distressing thing is that it won't do so before her visa expires.

So, basically, Cortez is pretty screwed. People rightly heaped sympathy on her for this sh*tty situation.
