Three New Members Join AEW's Nightmare Family
Cody took to Twitter to welcome the new recruits.
Current AEW TNT Champion Cody Rhodes has announced on Twitter that three new members will be joining the Nightmare Family.
22 year-old prospect Lee Johnson and father-son duo Billy and Austin Gunn will all now join the likes of Cody, Brandi and Dustin Rhodes, alongside QT Marshall and coach Arn Anderson.
Cody revealed the acquisitions on his Twitter account, posting about the Gunn Club:
"I’m thrilled to welcome this Father/Son true tag-team to our mix. Billy is an absolute legend and a world class professional both on camera and BTS. Welcome Gunn Club! #DoTheWork"
And also praising Johnson as a "prospect" who was "ready to take the next step in his career":
"Sky is the limit for this 22yr old prospect! He’s put in the time and effort at the @NF_Training - he’s ready to take the next step in his career. A winning step. He will have all the tools at his behest now. Welcome Lee Johnson! #DoTheWork"
Cody will team with the Gunn Club to take on the trio of John Silver, Colt Cobana and 10 of the Dark Order on this week's episode of AEW Dynamite.
With the additions of the Gunn Club on Johnson, will The Nightmare Family now have the necessary forces to defeat the Dark Order once and for all?
