It is said that when it rains it pours, but in TNA's case the rain seems to be a torrential downpour of impending apocalyptic standards. Coming off the back of a well-received pay-per-view in the shape of Slammiversary 2016, Impact Wrestling promised a plethora of title matches and the announcement of the latest inductee into the TNA Hall of Fame. What viewers received instead was almost non-stop commercials for for way longer than commercials should ever have to run, leaving viewers baffled and angry. It transpired that rather than being another mistake made by those in charge of TNA, the error here came from POP TV (TNA's network) and their master controller in Atlanta, Georgia. TNA took to social media to address the problem, something that was also acknowledged by POP TV themselves. The debacle turned what should have been the beginning of a turned corner for the company into yet another hurdle, another boulder for the much-maligned promotion to push up the hill.

As the company lurches from one issue to the next, in many ways it has become painful to watch. Here's hoping that the house can be put in order, and TNA can continue to be a place for wrestlers to perform and fans to enjoy.
