Tony Khan's recent WWE-bashing spree on X has seemingly been met with mixed reactions within AEW.

On Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez reported AEW's belief that "Tony needs to get off his phone and stop tweeting." This follows a long series of tweets taking shots at WWE before and before this Tuesday's head-to-head battle between NXT and Dynamite.

Alvarez said:

“I’ve heard that Tony needs to get off his phone and stop tweeting. You know who I heard that from? Not WWE, well, yeah from WWE too, but also from AEW. They are saying ‘will someone get this guy’s phone from him?'”

Fightful Select have heard differently, reporting that amongst the people they spoke to, there "wasn't any real concern or issues with it." Most are of the belief that either Khan shouldn't have tweeted at all (referring specifically to his shot at The Undertaker and John Cena), or he was just having fun with an unfavourable situation. One source pointed out, too, that immediately after jabbing Cena/'Taker, Khan announced a bunch of AEW matches while people were on his profile.

Fightful noted, too, that Khan's tweets aren't cleared with AEW's PR department before posting.

Khan has been highly active on Twitter this week, with his biggest, most notable shot being a swipe at NXT's ratings this Tuesday:

This is despite NXT outdrawing Dynamite in Tuesday's head-to-head battle.

Beyond the Cena/Undertaker X, Khan took aim at Vince McMahon (fairly, perhaps...):
