Professional wrestling's most beloved pooch he might be, but Cody's dog, Pharaoh, had a horrible night at All Out, with his owner's entrance pyrotechnics scaring the life out of him as he was led through the tunnel and onto the stage, with Brandi Rhodes and MJF resisting the clearly terrified pet's attempts to dash backstage.

Everything about this was a big mistake. Cody has since confirmed that the fireworks weren't supposed to go off as his crew made their entrance:-

'The American Nightmare's' clarification came just a few hours after AEW President Tony Khan had addressed the situation in his usual post-pay-per-view media scrum, which can be viewed in full below:-

Speaking to the gathered reporters, Khan said that he wasn't at all happy with how things went down, stating that he wasn't certain that Pharaoh should have been brought out at all. This suggests AEW won't be doing this again.

Khan also mentioned that Brandi wasn't happy with Pharaoh getting scared either. The dog had appeared as part of an elaborate ring entrance during which Cody selected MJF as his second vs. Shawn Spears (w/ Tully Blanchard). Here's hoping it doesn't happen again.
