It looks like Killer Kross could be the next free agent to join WWE, as reported by Dave Meltzer in this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Per the writeup, while nothing is finalised and nothing has been signed yet, it looks increasingly likely that the former Impact Wrestling man is going to end up working in the sport's biggest promotion.

Meltzer claims his sources have told him that Kross and Triple H met earlier this week. There's no word on what, exactly, was discussed, though it doesn't take much thought to figure out their likely agenda.

The report also suggests that much of WWE's interest comes from Kross' imposing look, and he certainly fits the bill at 6'4"/249lbs.

Kross' real-life partner, Scarlett Bordeaux, signed with WWE earlier this year. Both left Impact following contract disputes, with Kross sidelined for several months after trying to engineer his release for the company. Now, he is free to go wherever he wants.

Meltzer also notes that Mexico's AAA had planned to book Kross in a programme with Cain Velasquez before the former UFC man's own departure, with Konnan reportedly a huge fan of the big man and his potential.
