Tryout Wrestling Camp Announced For WWE WrestleMania 38 Week
WWE looking to line up its second Next In Line class.
With the 2022 iteration of WWE's Showcase of the Immortals looming large on the horizon, Vince McMahon's sports entertainment behemoth has announced that a tryout camp will take place during the week of WrestleMania 38.
As per McMahon's promotion, a multi-day talent tryout will be held in Dallas, Texas during 'Mania Week. This tryout will be exclusively for current or recently graduated college athletes, as WWE looks to line up its next class of Next in Line talents.
Starting on Wednesday 30 March, this assessment camp will be held at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, which is the home of the Dallas Cowboys World HQ and the Cowboys' excellent practice facility. Over 50 male and female wannabes will participate in this latest tryout, with several NFL Draft-eligible college football stars currently scheduled to be a part of the camp.
In terms of what this tryout camp will consist of, hopefuls will partake in in-ring sessions, sitdown interviews, solo and group promos, and all-round performance evolutions.
The Next in Line scheme was launched by WWE last December, with the aim being to craft a clear path for college athletes to get a shot at becoming a WWE superstar. That December saw the announcement of the inaugural NIL class, with those competing in the WrestleMania Week tryout eligible to be part of the second NIL class - which is due to be revealed in the next few months.
