Those hoping for an imminent resolution to AEW's investigation into the post-All Out 2022 will be disappointed to learn that it is still ongoing.

AEW founder and CEO confirmed as much in a new interview with Variety. When asked about the matter, he said that he was unable to comment as the investigation hasn't yet concluded.

The promotion moved to commission a third-party investigation when The Elite brawled with CM Punk and Ace Steel after Punk's incendiary comments during the post-All Out press scrum, where he took aim at AEW's Executive Vice Presidents, Colt Cabana, and 'Hangman' Adam Page. While accounts on what happened next very, it is accepted that The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega entered Punk's locker room afterwards - which is where the fight broke out.

The Bucks, Omega, Punk, and Steel were all suspended for their roles in the fracas. So too were staff members Michael Nakazawa, Brandon Cutler, Christopher Daniels, and Pat Buck, though these names have since been reinstated when the investigation revealed they had tried to break the fight up.

The Elite were stripped of their newly-won Trios World Championships following All Out. Punk dropped his World Title too, though this would have happened due to injury regardless, with the 43-year-old suffering a torn triceps on the pay-per-view.
