Contrary to popular belief, Taylor Wilde is still associated with IMPACT Wrestling.

Following her return at Rebellion back in April, the former Knockouts Champion had been expected to become a major part of the division she'd help build. She immediately targeted the current champion, Deonna Purrazzo, and defeated her then-associates Kimber Lee and Susan.

She's not wrestled since May's Under Siege event, though; there, she and Tenille Dashwood overcame Lee and Susan. Her most recent appearance came on the following Thursday's IMPACT broadcast, before she was essentially written off television by no-showing a ten-knockout tag team match.

Speaking on the Wrestling Perspective Podcast, Wilde has dished out some details regarding her absence from IMPACT programming;

"Yes, yes, I’m f*cking back. I had a little bit of a life crisis, happens. I seem to be pretty competent in my career, as a mother, but other aspects of my life have not been so stellar so I’ve closed another chapter and it was a slight interruption in my wrestling comeback but, whatever. Taylor Wilde, I’m f*cking wild so, I’m back."

This, in effect, rules out the possibility of her being the mystery opponent for Deonna Purrazzo's Knockouts Championship at Slammiversary on 17 July. Wilde did, however, confirm that she'll be in attendance for the post-Slammiversary tapings. They go down on Sunday, 18 July and Monday, 19 July.
