Update On WWE's Backstage Plans For Multiple Wrestlers Post-Draft
Here's what WWE has in mind for multiple new stars on Raw and SmackDown.
PWInsider are reporting that WWE has grand plans for several drafted superstars.
Hit Row were one of the most major additions to SmackDown. The ex-NXT group are reportedly headed for big things on Friday nights - the site claims that “Top Dolla” AJ Francis will be pushed as a singles star. Meanwhile, Ashante Adonis and Isaiah “Swerve” Scott will be used as a tag-team and B-Fab will work in the women's division.
She won't just be the group's valet, which is good news.
There's a lot of movement in the women's divisions on both major shows too. Shotzi Blackheart and Tegan Nox split up during the 2021 Draft, and word is that WWE will utilise Shotzi as a heel on SmackDown. Over on Raw, Nox will remain babyface.
Mia Yim and Xia Li are set to play face roles on Raw and SmackDown respectively.
There's also news on what WWE has planned for Apollo Crews. PWInsider claims that Crews and Commander Azeez will be used more as a tag unit going forwards now they've jumped to Raw. That's a slight change, because Azeez had been more of a bodyguard for Apollo on Friday nights.
