As reported earlier in the week, FloSports have entered the pro-wrestling streaming market with the introduction of FloSlam.tv. The company have signed a five-year deal with EVOLVE's parent company, WWN Live, and will soon broadcast the celebrated indie promotion's events through their platform.

WWN founder Gabe Sapolsky has stated that the deal will have no effect on his company's existing relationship with WWE, and FloSports have repotedly been in talks with other top indie companies.

The story's most interesting aspect is that WWE were one of a group of investors who helped raise $21 million in funding for FloSports back in August. Despite this investment, the Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer has today reported that the FloSlam platform is completely independent of WWE.

On his site's message board, Meltzer wrote that neither WWE nor Pro Wrestling Guerrilla are involved with FloSlam. Any talk of WWE involvement is premature, he said, as the two parties hadn't had a single conversation about working together. As far as PWG goes, the Calfirnoa indie reportedly turned Flo down without any discussion.

WWE does own a stake in FloSports, but they're minor investors, and Meltzer believes they act as a silent partner without any influence on the platform.
