WWE Updates On Rumoured WrestleMania Matches

The show of shows' undercard is coming together.

Four matches have been officially announced for WrestleMania, but according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, there are three more than will be confirmed on television soon. Following Chris Jericho's Raw attack on tag team partner AJ Styles, a fourth singles bout between the two men is scheduled. Styles defeated Jericho in his WWE singles debut on Raw, then Jericho evened the score on Smackdown! Styles won a rubber match at Fastlane to seemingly put the feud to bed, but now they'll clash one more time at WrestleMania. U.S. Champion Kalisto is set to defend his title against Ryback. Rumors regarding the feud arose last week when house show lineups promoting Kalisto-Del Rio-Ryback triple threat matches were released, and the program was teased on Raw when Ryback confronted the champion. Finally, the Intercontinental Title will be on the line in a multi-man match. Even though Sami Zayn's debut on this past week's Raw seemed to be hinting at a singles program between the former NXT Champion and Kevin Owens, Meltzer is reporting that the plan is still to include several top talents in the WrestleMania bout. The Miz and Dolph Ziggler are rumored to take part in the match. With those bouts, the announced contests (Roman Reigns versus Triple H, The Undertaker versus Shane McMahon, Dean Ambrose versus Brock Lesnar, and Charlotte versus Sasha Banks versus Becky Lynch), a rumored New Day-League of Nations match, and the annual WrestleMania battle royal, the entire card for the show of shows seems to be set.
