The USA Network were "very unhappy" about last night's Friday Night SmackDown on FOX Hell in a Cell match, according to Andrew Zarian from the Mat Men podcast.

Just a couple of days before the latest Hell in a Cell PPV was set to grace our screens this Sunday night, the decision was suddenly made to move the impending Universal Championship match between Roman Reigns and Rey Mysterio, which was set to go down inside the structure, to the latest edition of SmackDown.

It's now being reported that the USA Network weren't best pleased with this unexpected changed of plans.

As Zarian explained:

“I can tell you for a fact that USA Network is very unhappy that the Hell in a Cell match is happening on SmackDown. I’m not gonna say they are fuming but they are very unhappy about it.”

With this match being moved off the upcoming PPV and thrown onto FOX television so late in the day, it means that NBCUniversal, the company USA operates within, has lost out on a match that should've been aired on their Peacock service. So, it's not hard to see why the folks at USA are a little p*ssed.

Despite USA not being happy with this move, the inclusion of the epic Hell in a Cell showdown on this week's episode of the blue show is expected to have a significant impact on the ratings for the go-home episode.
