Rumours that Vince McMahon was back on WWE creative swirled on Wednesday, BUT...
Several wrestling reporters have moved to squash rumours that Vince McMahon is back on WWE creative, which started doing the rounds online on Wednesday.
Yesterday, Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp tweeted that somebody within WWE had told him they believed Vince had returned to creative, though he was unable to confirm. A few hours later, having consulted with WWE sources "that would be in the position to know", Sapp stated that "these fears are unfounded":-
Sources within WWE that would be in the position to know tell Fightful Select that these fears are unfounded. We couldn't get any confirmations on those talent's fears, as noted in the original post.

Between the two SRS tweets, PWTorch's Wade Keller said that he had been told Vince is not back on creative:-

Meanwhile, on Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez claimed to have been asked if McMahon was back on the writing team after WWE nudged Brock Lesnar towards a WrestleMania 39 match with Omos on Monday's Raw. He added that fans will know if Vince is back on creative simply by watching the shows.
McMahon, 77, staged a wholly unsurprising WWE return in January, being reinstated to the company's Board of Directors as Executive Chairman. Vince claimed in a public statement that he was coming back to facilitate a sale and help with WWE's next set of content rights negotiations.
Paul 'Triple H' Levesque became WWE's head of creative in July 2022, taking over from his father-in-law, who was made to resign in disgrace following sexual misconduct allegations. Levesque claimed in January that while Vince had spoken to him about ideas, McMahon ultimately defers to him, with Triple H retaining the final say on what does and does not make it to company television.
