The SmackDown roster will appear on tonight's episode of WWE Raw as part of a literal egg hunt following Survivor Series 2021.

A bizarre storyline played out on the pay-per-view, as WWE indulged in promotion for Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's new Netflix movie, Red Notice, by featuring one of its props throughout the night. Said prop was a golden egg from Cleopatra valued at $100 million.

Vince McMahon had it with him during the show, saying it was gifted to him by The Rock. McMahon showed it off to Roman Reigns and other members of the roster before it went missing, leading to Vince ordering authority figures Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville to interview everyone they would find, promising to get to the bottom of it on Raw if his staff members couldn't.

Spoiler alert: his staff members couldn't. Raw will tonight be invaded by SmackDown wrestlers as McMahon attempts to find the culprit.

This is the second time WWE has used its pay-per-views as a movie advertisement platform in 2021. May's WrestleMania Backlash show saw Damian Priest face The Miz in a zombie lumberjack match, with an undead horde surrounding the ring to promote Dave Bautista's Army of the Dead flick.
