Titus O'Neil's comical botch at the Greatest Royal Rumble is said to have brought even Vince McMahon to the verge of tears.

O'Neil tripped on his way to the ring in last night's eponymous main event, sliding underneath the apron in the process. His mishap was replayed several times for the television audience, provoking near uncontrollable laughter from the WWE commentary team.

And, according to website Wrestling News, even the chairman of the board couldn't help but share in their amusement backstage. Vince was reportedly so entertained by it that he instructed the production team to show the footage again, breaking from the long-held tradition of quietly brushing any botches under the carpet.

Apparently, he even shook O'Neil's hand and gave him a warm pat on the back after he returned to the back following his elimination from the match. Proof, if it were needed, that the 72-year-old isn't as stern and straight-faced as many of us might think. Even if he did once suspend Titus for touching him on the shoulder once.

For the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened in his entire career, this went a lot better than it otherwise might have for O'Neil.
