The main event of Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose at Hell In A Cell will be best remembered for the cell bump that both men performed. Before the match had even officially started, Ambrose and Rollins battled on the roof of the structure. The heel then started clambering about half way down the cell, only to be stopped by Ambrose who started headbutting his nemesis. That was enough to send both men falling a considerable distance on to the announce tables. The story was that the headbutt knocked both out and they then fell in unison. It did look a little phoney on Ambrose's part, as it wasn't quite believable that his own headbutt would knock him out. However, fans didn't care, this was a sick spot that we don't see happen often. It felt special and garnered a wonderful reaction. Medical staff then placed Amrbrose and Rollins on stretchers, only for the babyface to recover and throw his enemy into the cell. We then got a good stunt filled match, before Bray Wyatt turned up to screw Dean out of a win. That was a little anti-climatic as a finish to what was meant to be feud ending match where nobody could interfere. The reaction of fans on social media was pretty scathing. Still, it sets up a compelling Ambrose vs Wyatt feud. On the whole, this match was reminiscent of some of WWE's classic cell moments. The fall and the spooky heel turning up at the end was reminiscent of the very first HIAC way back in 1997. The bolting from the stretcher moment was reminiscent of Mick Foley back in 1998. Ambrose and Rollins promised an exciting encounter and they certainly delivered.
