What Stipulation Was Added To NXT Tag Title Match For In Your House?
If the Creed Brothers can't beat Pretty Deadly on Saturday, they'll have to...
For the Creed Brothers, it's "win or else" at NXT In Your House this weekend.
The duo received their marching orders from Roderick Strong on Tuesday's NXT 2.0: Win the NXT Tag Team Championship or they're kicked out of Diamond Mine. Julius & Brutus Creed challenge tag champs Pretty Deadly at the upcoming PLE.
The Creeds have had a rough go of things lately. After winning the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic in February, they saw their tag title match turned into a triple threat with MSK joining the fray and then winning the titles. Then when MSK were stripped of the championship (due to Nash Carter being fired), the Creed Brothers entered a tag team gauntlet match first and lasted until the end, when the very fresh Pretty Deadly bested them for the vacant titles.
Diamond Mine itself has had a turbulent time in recent months. The group has seen their trainer Hachiman released as part of the January NXT releases, and then manager Malcolm Bivens released in April. In both cases, Diamond Mine ignored the departures and acted as if nothing had happened.
Meanwhile, leader Strong has grown increasingly erratic, almost trying to sabotage his own group at times. He got involved in the Creeds' match against the Viking Raiders, which set off a series of arguments and miscommunications, brought in Damon Kemp as a new member without consulting the rest of the unit, and then issued Tuesday's ultimatum. In real life, Strong has reportedly been frustrated with his role in the company and has requested his release.

It's entirely possible that the Creeds finally reach the mountaintop and capture tag gold on Saturday. But it's also possible that they lose the title match, get booted from Diamond Mine, and then show up on the main roster the following week. Pretty Deadly made an offhand remark about seeing the Creeds "on Monday," but that could have just been a slip-up.
