Which AEW Stars Does Chris Jericho Think Are Underrated?
"The sky's the limit for them".
Chris Jericho told Sportskeeda during a recent interview that he thinks Orange Cassidy, Trent and a few others are "going to be very big for us at a certain point".
The former AEW Champ put over Cassidy as a "cult-like figure" who will explode when the company are able to start running shows in front of fans again. Similarly, he believes nobody has seen the best of Trent, and thinks it's only a matter of time before he blows up and become a major star.
Then, Jericho went on to suggest that both Jungle Boy and Scorpio Sky could be breakout successes over the next few years. That's lofty praise indeed coming from he of much marketing genius.
Obviously, it's in Jericho's best interests to talk up the AEW roster, but everyone mentioned can feel flattered by his words. The question asked was who Jericho thinks is underrated, and he specifically name-checked Cassidy, Trent, Jungle Boy and Sky.
He then went on to put over his Inner Circle teammates, and said he picked them as on screen pals because they deserve the spotlight.
