According to The Wrestling Observer, Rick Steiner's son Bronson recently had a tryout with WWE. There's no word yet on whether or not the company are interested in signing him, but Bronson is exactly the kind of real-sports athlete WWE would typically head hunt.

Bronson, who is using his real name Rechsteiner (but would presumably switch to the more-established Steiner moniker should be move into pro wrestling), was a star running back in college at Kennesaw State University in Georgia. He was also cut from the Baltimore Ravens roster just prior to the 2020 NFL season.

The 6' 3", 230 pound hopeful did tell Sports Illustrated back in March, "It’s always been my dream to carry the family’s legacy in professional sports, and I’m staying focused on taking football as far as I can". That, at least for now, has changed somewhat - Bronson has shown keen interest in his dad's old stomping grounds.

Stay tuned for more on this story soon. This likely won't be the last time you hear the name Bronson Rechsteiner, especially if WWE show serious interest.
