Bret Hart was once concerned that WCW weren't doing enough to help him contend with "dangerous stalkers".

On his new 'Confessions Of The Hitman' podcast, the wrestling legend divulged alarming details about women who stalked him towards the end of his career. According to Bret, their attention was nothing new (some had followed him in the WWF), but things did come to a head during the final few years of his WCW run.

Those who read Hart's fabulous autobiography may know some of this, but those who didn't will be shocked to learn that Bret had to deal with so much hassle. One of the offenders even attempted to stab a police officer who was called to the scene by a worried hotel receptionist.

Bret had asked her to call the area's local department and tell them that a woman was following him around and waiting outside. He didn't know she had a knife.

She and others made regular physical threats to the 'Hitman' over the phone and in person. Distressed and fearing for his life, Hart also believed WCW needed to do a bit more and take his concerns seriously.
