WWE held two #1 contender's matches on Raw Monday night to find the next challengers for the Raw Women's Championship and United States Championship. Unsurprisingly, both had some outside chicanery.

The women's title match featured Bayley vying against Alexa Bliss to challenge champ Bianca Belair, who was ringside for the bout. Bayley found her normal advantage nullified when Becky Lynch attacked and chased off Damage CTRL before the match. This left her on her own to contend with Bliss, who gamely made her way through a match where she appeared to either be injured or selling an injury, moving slower than usual.

Bayley tried to use an exposed turnbuckle toward the end, but Belair called it out to the ref, prompting the Role Model to lose focus and fall victim to Twisted Bliss, making Alexa Bianca's next challenger. As the two friends went for a hug afterward, Bray Wyatt's symbol flashed on the screen and Bliss started to go for Sister Abigail before coming to her senses.

In the main event, Seth Rollins defeated Bobby Lashley after a referee bump led to Lashley's pinfall attempt following a spear not being counted as quickly as normal. This enraged Lashley, who then tried a second spear that Rollins countered into a Pedigree for the win and the next US title shot. Lashley would go on to accost and shove (and elbow) officials, getting himself fired.

There's no word on when either Bliss or Rollins will get their title matches, but with the next PLE - Royal Rumble - more than six weeks away, it's very likely we'll get those title matches on Raw in the coming weeks.
