Why Kaitlyn Thought She'd Be Fired After Accidentally Winning A Match She Was Booked To Lose

On the 20 August 2012 episode of Raw, Eve Torres was booked to win a Battle Royal that'd earn her a crack at the WWE Divas Title. When it came down to Torres and Kaitlyn, Eve told her peer to hit her hard during a clothesline spot. She'd live to regret that one!
Kaitlyn accidentally lined Torres over the ropes to the floor, won the match and immediately thought she was going to get fired for going off-script.
In a new interview with 'Ring The Belle', Kaitlyn said she was sure Vince McMahon would terminate her contract for the error. The fact that Layla, who was doing guest commentary, was visibly seething made things worse.

Much to Kaitlyn's surprise, nobody was all that bothered by the mistake. Eve was naturally gutted because she was supposed to win, and Layla wasn't exactly thrilled, but McMahon laughed it off and said Kaitlyn had nothing to worry about.
