Will Jushin "Thunder" Liger Be Back In WWE?

Is he coming back or was NXT Takeover Brooklyn a one time deal?

Wrestling Observer Newsletter. It was noted in the Observer that a promoter tried to book Liger for a few shows and was told that WWE had already booked him on those dates. It's not known what dates they are, although it shows that he is in WWE's future plans. While it's not known what kind of deal Liger has signed with WWE, he could be working the next NXT tapings in September and maybe some NXT live events coming up that are at music festivals. Liger beat Tyler Breeze in their match at NXT Takeover Brooklyn. When WWE initially signed Samoa Joe to a deal earlier this year, it was a per appearance contract that allowed him to work indy datesl. After he debuted and his merchandise sold really well, WWE signed him to a full time deal. Liger will continue to work mainly for New Japan Pro Wrestling, but he does have a deal with them that allows him to appear elsewhere. Apparently, that means more NXT appearances in the coming weeks and months.
