Windham Rotunda has filed for a new trademark that some are taking as a further indicator that the former Bray Wyatt is gearing up to make a return to the squared circle.

As picked up on by Wrestling Inc., Rotunda filed to trademark the term "Wyatt 6" with the United States Patent and Trademark Office on 21 June. That particular term is the three-time World Champion's current Twitter handle, and is also a moniker that some fans are speculating will be his new wrestling name if and when the Eater of Worlds make his in-ring return.

In terms of the purpose of this trademark, that was to secure "Wyatt 6" for "the categories of "hats; Shirts; Sweatshirts; Bandanas; Hooded sweatshirts" in “entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer”. So, basically, expect to be seeing Wyatt 6 wrestling merchandise at some point in the future.

It's now been over a year since wrestling fans last saw Windham in a match, with his most recent bout being a WrestleMania 37 loss to Randy Orton. Bray Wyatt would appear on Raw the night after that edition of WWE's Showcase of the Immortals, but that would be his last appearance for the company before being surprisingly released by Vince McMahon's sports entertainment juggernaut on 31 July 2021.

Since exiting WWE, Rotunda has been working with special effects artist Jason Baker on a mystery horror project, and he's also made a handful of signing appearances.
