Wrestlemania 28: Hell in a Cell - The Undertaker defeats Triple H

Match was full of intense, emphatic drama but a little repetitive.

After thirty minutes of hard hitting action, Undertaker defeated Triple H with a tombstone to extend the streak to 20-0. Match was full of intense, emphatic drama but a little repetitive. Undertaker battered Triple H to start with, but Hunter then retaliated by ploughing the Deadman into a set of steel steps with a spinebuster before hammering his opponent relentlessly with a chair and telling Referee Shawn Michaels to stop the match. He almost did so but was taken out by Taker who gradually recovered to regain his bearings in the match. Best moment of the bout then followed when Triple H reversed a tombstone attempt by pushing The Undertaker into Shawn who hit the Deadman with a sweet chin Music causing Taker to then rebound right into a pedigree attempt for a near fall. Later Undertaker got his revenge by going crazy on Triple H with a chair and asking him to stay down. Finally, they went for the dramatic finish with an exhausted Triple H giving Taker the crotch chop before resigning to his fate as he charged heart over head into the arms of his opponent. Shawn, torn between his friendship with Hunter and calling the match fairly was exsquisite in his role and added much to the theatrics though they really could have done more to utilise the hell in a cell environment. Post-match there was a truly wonderful wrestlemania moment though as Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker carried Triple H up to the titantron where the three legends embraced with a hug.
