It's hard to remember a WrestleMania that's been as controversial and divisive as Mania 32, which set the stage for an epic (though few were expecting a classic), and instead served up one of the weirdest flagship WWE PPVs of the last few years.
The booking and overall mindset of WWE's creative team has been called into question countless times before, but it's hard to remember the last time there was such vocal backlash against almost every result on the card, not merely Roman Reigns' title victory over Triple H. It's all the more frustrating because, despite so much key talent being absent from the event due to injuries, the WWE had cobbled together a pretty solid card for the main show...and then completely obliterated it with terrible writing.

WrestleMania was a hallmark night for female wrestling, as the Divas Title was rebranded as the Women's Title, resulting in a new belt design as well as the Divas themselves now simply being referred to as "superstars" alongside their male counterparts.
Even though the Triple Threat Women's Title match undeniably stole the show, it wasn't all sunshine and ice cream for the ladies, as evidenced by Stephanie getting demolished by Roman Reigns in the main event as she attempted to influence the outcome.
What better way to put the struggling top-line face over, right?
