This era's Ravishing Rick Rude has been revealed, but who was it?

Kelsey Heather carved out a unique bit of history for herself last night when she became the first wrestler since All Elite Wrestling formed in 2019 to appear on AEW and WWE television at the same time.

Heather worked a match against Leyla Hirsch on July 12th's taped AEW Dark Elevation, and also appeared in her recurring role as one of the women escorting/cheerleading Bobby Lashley in MVP's VIP Lounge on the pre-taped Monday Night Raw that aired on the same evening.

A cool quirk of both shows being already recorded and airing on the same night, and obviously each role not requiring a long-term contract or any sort of exclusivity, Heather's case may be one of the only times such a thing occurs with both companies returning to a full road schedule.

It all pays partial homage to an infamous case of Live Vs Taped that saw Ravishing Rick Rude appear on both the November 17th editions of Monday Night Raw and Monday Nitro. He cut a promo with a full beard as part of D-Generation X on the already-recorded WWE show, and did the same sporting just a moustache as a new member of the nWo on the live Nitro. Heather's dual spot is, thankfully, a little less controversial.
