WWE: 10 Main Event Matches We Want For The Network Launch Raw

By Michael Muys /

The Raw after the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view has always been important for the WWE. It is then that they can focus all their attention on the grand-daddy of them all, Wrestlemania. However, this year, there is added pressure on this Raw to succeed. With the WWE Network debuting that same day, people still on the fence about ordering a subscription to the Network could easily be swayed into opting in on this business venture. As in normal weeks, the main event tells the story of what is the marquee match up going on within the WWE story lines, this week has all the same pressure, plus more. However, what is the marquee story line right now? What match can get people to fork over more of their money? With the additions of returning superstars such as the Undertaker, Hulk Hogan, Brock Lesnar, and many more, there is no limit to the different matches that can be held. This is the same time of year we saw the amazing John Cena vs CM Punk for the Number One Contendership last year. With all these superstars in the same building, the possibilities are endless. We could have a Roman Reigns vs Bray Wyatt match to set up the future. There could be a Hulk Hogan vs John Cena match that showcases the top two Superman wrestlers of all time. That is what is going to make the Raw so special, that there could almost be anything on there. We know where the story lines are mostly heading, at least it you read the dirt sheets. But there can always be a swerve or two in the pocket of Vince McMahon that he would throw out at the last minute.
