It's Wrestlemania season and we're moving rapidly towards one of the best gimmick PPV's of the year in Elimination Chamber. The contenders, Antonio Cesaro aside, have all held a major championship (World and/or Heavyweight Title) and, with all respect to the Swiss muscle man, one of those champs is going to walk away with the title. It'll be a great match but will also be somewhat predictable. Come June 29th 2014 though and we get the Money in the Bank PPV which has become an event more heralded that SummerSlam in recent years thanks to great main events and two ladder matches to contend. Of course, last year we had an ex-champs match which somewhat sucked the air out of the evening, but the Smackdown match, with Damien Sandow as the eventual winner, was great to watch because we could see talented mid-carders fighting for the opportunity to become main eventers. At its essence, this is what the ladder match can do make stars. Look at Edge and his cash-in 2006 or CM Punk's double win. It really can make careers. Since the match has moved to its own PPV, we've been treated to a double match but Wrestlemania has now severely lacked an obvious, genuine highlight. If the WM card isn't great, you could always look to the Money in the Bank match for thrills and spills. It was a great match every time and got the crowd, and TV audience, pumped for the main events. It was everything we wanted from the biggest event of the year and now...? Well, it sometimes feels a little deflated. So, to that end, let's look at 10 reasons why a Money in the Bank match should return at Wrestlemania.
