The WWE's success is down to way beyond the characters you see on Monday Night Raw. In a company that employs over 700 people, there's various talent working quietly behind the scenes. It might come as quite a shock, but various people you thought no longer had involvement in WWE, are in fact under pay-roll and working behind the scenes. The duties of these former big stars now include training the next generation, instructing the current crop of wrestlers, and ambassadorial work representing the brand. It's a good gig if you can get it, working for WWE is always better than working against it. The wrestling industry is pretty much a monopoly for WWE, so in most cases, when you're done as a wrestler, the money and lifestyle vanish. These 11 stars are lucky enough to have extended their relevancy in WWE beyond the cameras... men and women you had no idea were currently under contract.
11. I.R.S Mike Rotunda
I.R.S, full name Irwin R Schyster, was a WWF character who was distinctive in the early 90's for wrestling in a shirt and tie. His over the top 'tax man' gimmick was typical of the cartoon era. While it might seem ridiculous, you can't deny he still stands out as a character all these years later. He was in fact a very decent in-ring worker, enjoying feuds with the likes of Bret Hart and Razor Ramon. Perhaps that's why I.R.S is now employed by WWE as a road agent, helping current WWE talent set up their matches. This role is a vitally important position in WWE, I.R.S works between talent and management, a key relationship in producing the action you see on Raw. One nice thing about this job is I.R.S gets to see his two sons perform weekly at Raw - real name Mike Rotunda, he is the father of Windham Rotunda (Bray Wyatt) and Taylor Rotunda (Bo Dallas).
