As you can probably tell from my previous articles (or if you checked out my twitter feed from time to time,) CM Punk is my favorite current wrestler and quite possibly one of my favorite wrestlers of all time. Since I delayed a little bit in getting this article out, we now know that supposedly Punk will be making his return at the Payback pay-per-view against Chris Jericho. Y2J is certainly a good opponent for Punk and if they are going with a feud between the 2 I'm all for it. However, what if this is just a 1 off for Punk to get a return match in Chicago? I've got just the thing for you. My journey as a wrestling fan has had many ups and downs, but when I returned to watching wrestling in 2004, there were 2 men who brought me back into hardcore fandom: AJ Styles and CM Punk. Hopefully one day I'll have the creative space to share that whole story, but suffice to say that I have consumed a good bit of CM Punk's career since then, there is probably only a handful of people who were happier than I when he actually started getting pushed in WWE.
