WWE "Not Satisfied" With This Released WWE Superstar's Work Ethic
More on why the company recently cut ties with one of their TV talents.
When it came to now-former NXT star Bodhi Hayward, WWE were apparently "not satisfied with his work ethic".
This is according to Dave Meltzer, who reported on a recent Wrestling Observer Radio that this one one of a number of reasons why the company decided to part ways with the Chase U student.
Amongst work ethic issues, there was also a "lack of progression" as well as him "not showing up on time".
News broke of Hayward's release earlier this week, with him offering his own thoughts on it. Though understandably shocked, he added that there was "a lot more to this business that maybe I do have to learn".
Two weeks before news of the cuts came down, Hayward had entered into an angle with Duke Hudson, with the Australian star suspiciously worming his way to Andre Chase and Thea Hail's heart as a budding new student. The company briefly acknowledged Hayward's departure on Tuesday's edition of NXT, doing so in a backstage segment involving Chase, Hudson, and Hail where the three acknowledged an obvious absence without mentioning his name.
Regardless of his next move, don't expect it immediately - he's likely currently bound to a standard developmental 30-day non-compete clause.
