WWE Announces Legend's Return For Monday's Raw
Someone special will make an appearance on this coming Monday's episode of WWE Raw.
WWE announced that Trish Stratus will return to the company during Friday's episode of SmackDown.
The Hall Of Famer is scheduled to make her comeback on Monday's edition of Raw in Toronto. It's believed that this is a one-off appearance from Trish, but who knows? It could lead to something more down the line - Stratus has been talking about wrestling again during interviews over the past few years.
Stratus' last in-ring showing came against Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam 2019. She did, however, work a few matches on free TV before that pay-per-view, so something physical isn't totally out of the question on Monday's flagship.
WWE will want fans talking about whether or not Trish might actually wrestle. It's in their best interests to keep the intrigue going, especially due to all of the ongoing excitement post-Vince McMahon. Ye olde, 'anything can happen' company catchphrase comes to mind here.
SmackDown played before a rowdy crowd in Montreal on Friday night, and WWE chiefs will be expecting a similar atmosphere next week. That electric vibe could help turn Trish's latest comeback into a special moment.
