WWE Bringing Hulk Hogan Back At WrestleMania 32?

Hulkamania could be running wild on April 3.

Hulk Hogan could be making a WWE return at WrestleMania 32. Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that he has heard a lot of speculation about Hogan possibly being back for the April 3rd megashow. Co-host Dave Meltzer then commented that he wouldn't rule out WWE bringing back the Hulkster for Mania. It would be a remarkable turn around for Hogan, bouncing back in the space of a year from his racism scandal. However, Meltzer added that he doesn't think WWE will rush the return if there's any risk of a backlash. It is still possible there may be a negative reaction, but it is also increasingly possible that there won't be a backlash. A lot of people view Hogan as a silly old man who made stupid comments, and there's a degree of sympathy for the way he was set up and then dragged through the mud by the media. A comeback would be a redemption. WWE would of course make money and publicity off it, spinning it as a second chance for the controversial star. However, PWInsider are also reporting that WWE won't bring Hogan back until his lawsuit with Gawker is resolved. As long as that case is still being fought, there's always the potential for more damaging headlines. The trial is only set to begin three weeks after WrestleMania. Still, with Triple H sounding positive on a possible Hogan return, and increasing speculation about it happening, there has to be a chance that the biggest wrestling legend in WWE history returns for the biggest WrestleMania in history.
