WWE's next pay-per-view is Elimination Chamber, taking place on February 23rd in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Will Brock Lesnar be there? At this point the answer looks like a no. Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com states that Lesnar isn't scheduled to work at the Elimination Chamber show, even though it's taking place in the city where he's from. As we know, Lesnar's contract calls for a schedule where he works a limited number of dates. Apparently he's worked the contracted number of dates that are on his schedule aside from WrestleMania, which is coming up in April. What's interesting about the scenario is that Lesnar's manager Paul Heyman did many promos where he claimed that Lesnar was the self proclaimed #1 contender to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but he never got a title shot and apparently may be off TV until after the Elimination Chamber. So what was the point of those Heyman promos? No idea. If Lesnar isn't going to be on TV for the next month then the way he left (beating up Cody Rhodes & Goldust a night after destroying Big Show) just leads to more questions. The expectation is that Lesnar is going to face The Undertaker at WrestleMania 30. While the creative team may change other plans, that match has seemingly been set in stone for a long time. That will likely be set up after Elimination Chamber because they want to keep the focus on that show. It makes sense. Most years Undertaker isn't back until then anyway. While plans can always change in WWE (especially these days), the expectation is that we won't see Brock Lesnar for about four more weeks.
