WWE Confirm The Undertaker Misses UK Tour
'The Deadman' won't be appearing after all.
Further adding to the growing speculation that The Undertaker's in-ring career may be at a close, WWE have announced that the veteran superstar will no longer feature in the company's upcoming UK tour after all.
Since throwing his gloves down after his WrestleMania 32 victory over Shane McMahon, The Undertaker's status has been in doubt - despite the storyline stipulation of the match ensuring his WrestleMania career could continue.
This latest news comes as a crushing blow to UK wrestling fans hoping for one last chance to see 'the Phenom', and it is now understood that is the reason Triple H and Shane McMahon were both drafted into the UK tour as his replacement.
The Undertaker was originally set to fulfill the all the dates of the trip, but over the last week has gradually reduced them to none.
Does this mean 'the Deadman' is finished in the ring, or are WWE saving him for one last blow-off WrestleMania 33 match? Given the prevaricating reports over the past few weeks, it is impossible to say at this stage.
The Undertaker's only house show appearance was due to be in Newcastle this Wednesday but now the updated card does not list his involvement; Triple H vs. Dean Ambrose is the main event, AJ Styles vs. Chris Jericho is the semi-main with Kalisto vs. Ryback also taking place for the U.S. title.
