WWE Greatest Royal Rumble: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best

WWE's hugely-hyped Greatest Royal Rumble has come and gone, yet despite the surprising quality of the card on paper, the PPV largely ended up feeling like an especially mediocre house show.

Because WWE doesn't like doing much of consequence away from U.S. soil, little memorable happened in any of the show's ten matches, resulting in a painfully bloated five-hour broadcast that once again proves WWE doesn't know the meaning of the word restraint.

Was it all bad? Certainly not. While there weren't any great matches, there were a few rock solid bouts, and the titular Rumble itself at least delivered on the barmy spectacle everyone was hoping for.

As for the rest of the card? It was a dispiriting mix of aggressive mediocrity and occasional awfulness. Either way, this show clearly wasn't so much about doing anything interesting in the ring, but just netting a colossal payday for the company. If its commercial success is any indication, expect more of these bland Network specials in the near-future...
