WWE Have ALREADY Broken Their "No Wrestling During Commercials" Rule
Last night's Miz vs. Elias clash continued during the break.
Yesterday's Monday Night Raw saw The Miz and Elias continue their ongoing rivalry in a 2-out-of-3 falls match, with 'The A-Lister' overcoming the former 'Drifter' 2-1, seemingly edging him closer to his real target: another bout with Shane McMahon.
In a move that should surprise absolutely nobody, WWE violated their own self-imposed "no wrestling during commercials" rule during this bout.

The rule was only put into place on the week commencing 17 June, with Vince McMahon seemingly deciding that he didn't want wrestlers battling while the show cut to ads on a whim. It has resulted in an abundance of unrealistic 2-out-of-3 falls bout and various match restarts on Raw and SmackDown, but now, after just two weeks, it looks like the Chairman has binned the idea.
It's worth noting that Raw's other bouts adhered to the rule. Still, this is the same company that broke the Wild Card's "four invaders a night" stipulation on its very first evening, and ditched Raw's "darker, grittier" third hour after a couple of episodes too. Their lack of long-term planning has rarely been so apparent.
