Admit it, you knew Booker T's mug was going to pop up before even clicking this story! It's true - the WWE Hall Of Famer and NXT announcer has taken AEW boss Tony Khan to task for recent social media meltdowns. In particular, Booker isn't chuffed that Tony dragged Jinder Mahal into the conversation for no reason.

That, as Book explained to listeners tuning into his podcast, was "low brow" and completely unnecessary. According to Booker, a "general" like Khan should be more mindful with what he says about pro wrestling "soldiers". That's something he believes is true regardless of whether someone is on the WWE or AEW side of the fence.

Booker has also encouraged Tony to step away from Twitter/X and let someone else run All Elite's socials for the time being. He thinks that'd be best, because these occasional meltdowns aren't doing the promotion any favours.

They might drive engagement numbers on the posts themselves, but there's no tangible proof that translates into ratings for core programming like Dynamite, Rampage or Collision. So, Booker doesn't really understand the point of it.

Hopefully, Book saw Tony's posts and immediately said: "Tell me he didn't just say that".
