WWE Legend Shoots Down Claims He Was Difficult To Work With
This WWE favourite has dismissed the idea he was challenging to get along with.
WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T has dismissed claims made by Dutch Mantel that he was difficult to work with and thought he "was bigger than the brand" in TNA.
Speaking via his podcast, Book said he genuinely entered TNA/IMPACT Wrestling with fresh eyes and wanted to make a splash. The ex-WWE favourite also wanted to help younger workers out, and says Dutch should ask the likes of AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Xavier Woods and others if he was hard to work with or snooty.
He doesn't think that's a fair assessment of his time in the company at all.
Booker did, however, relent that he often didn't know which direction he was supposed to be heading in creatively during his TNA run. For example, they put the old Legends Title on him, but nobody ever explained what the belt was supposed to really represent.
Book described it as being "like a gift" more than a title run. Little moments like that hurt his interest in the promotion, but he doesn't think it's accurate of Mantel to suggest he didn't care about TNA.
