With December bringing word that a second NXT show was on the way, now comes an update on what is tentatively titled NXT EVOLVE.

The initial news of this second weekly black and gold brand show saw it explained how this would serve as a minor leagues system of sorts for NXT. Gabe Sapolsky was to lead a team of agents and writers for this show, with Triple H firmly putting his faith in Sapolsky and what the EVOLVE founder brings to the table.

Now, Fightful Select has revealed that aforementioned working title of NXT EVOLVE, while adding that graphics have been created with that branding in mind. In even bigger news, this same report states that this sub-section of the greater NXT brand will have its own title.

The early buzz is that NXT EVOLVE will be like nothing else produced under the WWE banner, and one of those assisting Sapolsky with the production is the brilliant Jeremy Borash.

WWE has already filmed content for NXT EVOLVE, with the belief being the several of the newer WWE signees are to be showcased on this weekly show. For the tapings already in the can, Josiah Williams – who recently did the intro for NXT: Vengeance Day and delivered a glorious song alongside Cameron Grimes – was the host of NXT EVOLVE.

Having been under some form of discussion for a couple of years now, this new strand of WWE programming will have more of a “fight” feel to it as and when its made available for public consumption – presumably on the WWE Network.
