WWE Planning Seth Rollins Vs. Triple H Feud?
The WWE Champ could be facing off against the boss very soon.
This past week was the start of some long term WWE planning for a big Seth Rollins and Triple H feud. It was noted in the Wrestling Observer that Rollins using the Pedigree as his new finisher as well as Hunter saying he sees the reflection of himself in Rollins, will lead to a feud between the pair down the road. At least there's talk of it now. Prior to this week, there really weren't signs of it, so that's why WWE dropped subtle hints since they probably figure they need to do that match. This Authority alliance started about a year ago when Rollins turned on his Shield buddies Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose. Rollins was immediately billed as "The Future of WWE" that went on to win Money in the Bank as well as the WWE Title at the end of WrestleMania 31. In order to get to Triple H vs. Rollins, one of them is going to have to turn face. It could work for either guy although it would probably be later in the year. Nothing wrong with a slow build. WWE needs more of that. For Hunter to turn face, it would have to be something where he's ousted from power and Rollins starts bragging about how he doesn't need Hunter anymore. Rollins could brag about how he's the best wrestler in the world while Triple H is past his prime. Hunter could easily get the support of the fans as a part time wrestler that is a legend that can still have some good matches once in a while. Hunter's not going to have a lot of matches (only one this year), but he can certainly put on a good show with Rollins at one or two PPV events when the story calls for it. Rollins could go face in the story perhaps after he loses the WWE Title and he is kicked out of The Authority. A lot of it depends on what the future of The Authority is too. The no brainer storyline for Rollins is to reunite with his Shield friends Reigns and Ambrose because that's something the fans would love to see. It would be an angle where he has to prove to them that they can trust him again. Maybe Triple H would find some other wrestler that could be "The Future" of WWE instead of Rollins too. There are a lot of options. Nearly every alliance in WWE ends in a feud and this one is no different. Perhaps the plan is to do it after SummerSlam although that's just a guess. Now that this tidbit of info is out there, we should listen to their promos closely for more teases for what's to come.
