WWE Raw: 10 Things You May Have Missed (Dec 12)

Kevin Owens couldn't be blamed for ditching Chris Jericho following Raw...

The last episode of Monday Night Raw before Roadblock: End Of The Line this Sunday was historic for The New Day. Set to match Demolition's age-old World Tag-Team Title record if they could survive the program as champions, Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods would have to go through more than once match on Raw.

There was a lot of drama to come after New Day beat both The Club and the team of Sheamus and Cesaro to open the show. A backstage party skit went wrong, Woods accidentally sprayed champagne all over Stephanie McMahon. This led to the show's main event, yet another trial for the champs.

Along the way, another authority figure heaped more pressure on the potential record-breakers. This felt unnecessary, there was never any reason given as to why Raw's General Manager felt it'd be a good idea to make things more difficult for the loveable Raw Tag-Team Champions.

Joining that little nuance, there were a whole load of other things you may have missed on Raw. Debuts that didn't happen, great announcing and even sexual innuendo were all involved.

Here are the top things you might just have glossed over from Raw...

10. More Sexual Innuendo From The New Day

The New Day had a big night on Raw, yet the fun-loving trio still found the time to insert more sexual innuendo into their act. In the past, New Day have used fruit to depict genitalia and are not adverse to gyrating their hips when reminding everyone of their Raw Tag-Team Title reign.

This week, more sexual references were used by the reigning champs. After Xavier Woods had put himself over as the brains of the outfit, Kofi Kingston remarked that he was the handsome one. That's when Big E took centre stage, and he had the most out-there things to say.

Not wasting any time getting to the point, Big E said that he was the 'big, meaty third leg of The New Day'. It doesn't take a genius to figure out what E was talking about here, this was more innuendo. It's still remarkable to think that New Day, with their colourful, cartoon-like outfits and general childlike appeal, are making comments like this on a PG show.
