Kurt Angle has been a bit busy recently, eh? When Raw's GM isn't revealing illegitimate sons to the whole world, he's calling the emergency services to cut Braun Strowman out of an ambulance crash or setting up Fatal-4-Way main events for SummerSlam.

On this week's Raw, Angle had another dramatic evening. Getting right in the middle of Samoa Joe, Strowman and Roman Reigns, the GM later watched Jason Jordan make his Raw debut as a singles star. Oh, Bayley. How innocent you looked when you stole our hearts by being introduced as a mystery tag partner for Sasha Banks back at Battleground 2016. Exactly 12 months on, you've lost some shine, and yet you're the next challenger for Alexa Bliss at SummerSlam. What a year it's been.

Whilst Bayley was beating Banks to cement a slot at SummerSlam, Michael Cole revealed that it had been precisely 1 year since she burst onto the Raw roster. A quick look at the calendar and yes, Cole was bang on the money. July 24, 2016 was the date of Battleground, and July 24, 2017 was this past Monday night.

Little factoids like this one are always welcome. Now, if only WWE's creative team could somehow find a way to make Bayley more than just another face on the roster. That NXT magic has been difficult to replicate, but there must be a way.
