A recent photo of Mark 'The Undertaker' Calaway has emerged online. Although grainy it clearly shows how much Calaway has aged as he approaches his 49th birthday on March the 24th. The man who we are used to seeing with black hair dye looks drastically different, instead sporting a white goatee beard. Perhaps he was inspired by the popularity of Daniel Bryan, but this beard has more in common with Santa Claus than the iconic beard of WWE's hottest star. There's little doubt that Taker will have shaved it off before he returns on Raw as expected next week. What can also be noticed is a new neck tattoo on his throat. Calaway famously has the name of his second wife 'Sara' tattooed on his neck for many years, before getting it removed after he left her for Michelle McCool. This newest tattoo looks to be some sort of pattern rather than the name of 'Michelle.' Undertaker is said to be healthy enough for competition at Wrestlemania 30. You do have to wonder how long he can continue with the WWE however. All the make up, hair dye and gimmicks can only work for so long. This is a man who will be 50 by Wrestlemania 31 and when he competes it puts his already painful vulnerabilities in even more strain. The photo above exposes the reality of Mark Calaway, he is an old man who should be enjoying a pain free retirement. He doesn't need wrestling anymore, the question is, does wrestling still need The Undertaker? Wrestlemania just isn't going to be the same without him when he does retire, as such Vince McMahon likely has at least a few more Mania plans in store yet for his resident legend.
