WWE Reveals New-Look Capitol Wrestling Center At NXT TakeOver: In Your House
The Capitol Wrestling Center got a redesign for TakeOver: In Your House last night.
WWE debuted a new-look Capitol Wrestling Center at NXT TakeOver: In Your House last night, with the reconfigured setup allowing for more fans to enter the jazzed-up Performance Center than at any other point since the COVID-19 pandemic kicked in in March 2020.
Gone were the wall-to-wall video screens surrounding the ring, replaced with rows of bleachers. Smaller, more spaced-out screens hung above the audience's heads, though there was no digital audience at In Your House, with the ThunderDome-style video-callers gone.
While the crowd perhaps wasn't as energised as one would expect from an old Full Sail University audience, the changes at least made for a more organic and natural series of reactions.
NXT chief Triple H tweeted about the new setup during TakeOver:-

Last week, the Mat Man Pro Wrestling Podcast reported prior to the show that over 300 fans would be allowed into the Capitol Wrestling Center for TakeOver. Triple H stated on his pre-In Your House media call that while he is open to future ideas with NXT's old home, Full Sail, the CWC is where NXT will be for the time being.
WWE introduced the CWC at TakeOver 31 in October 2020. Prior to that, NXT's pandemic era shows had played out in the barren Performance Center.
