WWE Smackdown was taped in Dallas, Texas on Tuesday night. The show marks the return of Bray Wyatt to in-ring action and continues the build toward Extreme Rules on April 26. The show started with a Daniel Bryan promo, in which he put over the meaning of the Intercontinental Title. He was interrupted by Bad News Barrett, who gloated about the Bull Hammer he hit last week. Sheamus then interrupted proceedings, coming out to "you look stupid" chants and really strong heat. Sheamus and Barrett threatened to come down and beat Bryan up, but Dolph Ziggler then came out to back up the babyface. That resulted in Big Show coming out, only for Roman Reigns to enter and even up the sides again. This set up the main event for later. The first match was Tyson Kidd and Cesaro versus New Day, with Kidd and Cesaro picking up the victory. The New Day heel turn is coming. Neville defeated Curtis Axel in two minutes. The crowd were really into Neville's fast paced moveset. Natalya defeated Alicia Fox, with Cameron as special referee. The finish was Fox tapping in Natalya's sharpshooter after around four minutes of action. Cameron attacked both women afterwards. Bray Wyatt made his in-ring return, his first match since losing to The Undertaker at WrestleMania 31. He defeated Erick Rowan via the Sister Abigail. Next up was Miz TV, in which he bragged about his movie. Summer Rae came out and pointed out that she was in the film as well. Mizdow then comes out and teases apologising to Miz, before knocking him out and destroying the Miz TV set. He then plants a kiss on Summer Rae. The main event is Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler, and Roman Reigns versus Big Show, Bad News Barrett, and Sheamus. It ended with Reigns getting the spear on Big Show. Reigns was very popular in Dallas, which is good news for WWE as they still envision him being a major babyface star.
