WWE Star Loses Undefeated Streak On Raw
Second-generation star had been undefeated since showing up last year.
WWE Raw's final program before WrestleMania 39 featured a main event between two second-generation superstars who have been undefeated since turning up on the main roster last year.
But it was Cody Rhodes defeating Solo Sikoa in a hard-fought match that saw the Bloodline and Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens tangle before the match was over. Cody managed to counter a Samoan Spike into a Cross-Rhodes for the win, preserving his unblemished record on his way into Mania to face Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Heavyweight Championship.
Reigns sent Solo, his enforcer to injure Rhodes, part of a plot to soften him up for Mania as the Tribal Chief looks to use every shortcut he can to preserve his title run. The fact that Cody warned Sikoa that he was "not ready" previously made this an even more interesting story beat. Roman sent his cousin, a young, brash and (relatively) inexperienced wrestler, to face the Royal Rumble winner, putting his undefeated streak on the line.

Sikoa hadn't been pinned or submitted in any televised match since debuting on the main roster last summer, spanning 22 matches.
The roadblock of the Samoan enforcer was a desperate move from a desperate champ, and it's the kind of thing that put some frustration into Solo's head, that he's being manipulated to the detriment of his own career.
