Baron Corbin has revealed that he once received death threats from some on social media after hitting his End Of Days finish on Becky Lynch during a mixed tag match at WWE's Extreme Rules 2019 PLE.

The company stalwart told Chris Van Vliet's 'Insight' show that Vince McMahon was the one who schemed the idea for that spot during Baron and Lacey Evans vs. Seth Rollins and Becky, because he knew it'd get Corbin a lot of heat. However, the then-WWE boss probably didn't think fans online would threaten to "stab" Baron after the show ended.

That's what happened though.

Corbin told Van Vliet that he actually took the grim DMs as a compliment, 'cause it showed that those folks bought into their suspension of disbelief. Of course, it's absolutely not a good thing that anyone sent a pro wrestler death threats. That's horrible, but Baron called the spot "totally worth it" anyway.

He even went as far as to call the reaction "awesome", which further proves how odd the wrestling business truly is.

Corbin is currently working on WWE's NXT brand. There's no word yet on exactly when he'll return to action on Raw or SmackDown.
